Kulturna (contact: [email protected]) is the controller of the personal data processed through this website. This page explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are under the GDPR.
What we collect and why
- Event submissions. Your first and last name, e-mail address and the event details you enter (including the poster). We use them to review the event, to contact you about it, and to publish the event on our website and social media. Your name and e-mail are never published; Instagram handles you provide are used only in our Instagram posts.
- Newsletter. Your e-mail address and the language of the site when you signed up, used only to send you the Kulturna newsletter. You can unsubscribe any time by writing to us.
- Technical data. Our server keeps short-lived logs with your IP address to protect the forms against abuse. We don't use analytics or advertising trackers.
Legal basis
Event submissions and the newsletter are processed on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in running the guide. Technical logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in security.
Who else sees the data
- Our hosting provider (Render Services, Inc.) stores the database and uploads.
- Event descriptions (never your name or e-mail) are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the Czech and English versions.
- Venue names and addresses are sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service to place events on the map.
How long we keep it
Event data stays as long as the event is listed in our archive or until you ask us to remove it. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Technical logs are deleted after a few days.
Cookies
The site sets one cookie to remember your language and, for the site administrators only, a login cookie. Neither tracks you, so no cookie banner is needed.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its processing, or to receive it in a portable format, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).
